Following its 5 Years of DGTL anniversary release, DGTL Records welcomes French artist Chloé to the family with Night Rider. Complete with a Roman Flügel remix of its title track, the EP offers the latest in this multi-talented artist’s accomplished and diverse repertoire. Night Rider is set to release on May 27th with pre orders available on May 18th.

In leading an entire generation to her formula-defying music, Chloé’s music goes beyond club and techno. The Lumière Noire boss has been releasing unwavering sonic compositions since her 2002 debut. From there, many releases would follow on the likes of BPitch Control, Live at Robert Johnson, Kill the DJ, My Favorite Robot, and Throne of Blood. But Chloé’s interest in art and human matters goes beyond simple sound machines, having also produced work within the 3D sound, photography, musical analysis, and film composition spaces.

Night Rider kicks off with its eponymous track. Featuring soft vocals set against a synth driven melody, the track harkens back to the cassette futurism of its classic-series source inspiration. From there, Three Nights in a Row is an anthem to the long haul. Is it for the afterhours or the early minutes? When the days and nights blend together, who’s to say? Wrapping things up comes a Night Rider interpretation from the one and only Roman Flügel. The German legend maintains the original’s oracular tone, ramping up the percussion and tension as only the master of machines could.

An obsessive seeker of sound, whether in her prodigious DJ sets or original compositions, Chloé embodies the life within the digital. With a career unfolding through a narrative of subtle contrast and ever-inspired curiosity, Chloé is a singular artist in a permanent state of reinvention.
